"Maritime" Fancy, better known as Flaxen - SOLD

Picture
Flaxen in training for an up-coming show.
Flaxen is our primary horse for our driving program.   She was born at Timbertop Farm in the Annapolis Valley in 2002 and registered as 'Maritime' Fancy.  She was trained for riding and driving by Gillian after she came to Follyfarm.  She is a brave little horse and doesn't mind leaving the farm for a trail ride on her own. She has participated in the school's extra-curricular education program and been a demonstration horse for the Equine First Aid Education Series.
Flaxen took a year off while she was having her first foal, Navy.  She returned to harness and saddle seamlessly as if she had never been away.  Recently she participated in her first driving show with the Nova Scotia Driving Society with great success.  She has also been driven as a pair or team with her sister, Fantasia and now with Ms Arati.  This summer she was the lead horse in a tandem hitch for the very first time.  Flaxen got her stable name due to her extraordinary long, flaxen white, mane,  forelock and tail.

Flaxen has been bred fro a 2015 spring foal.  If this foal is a well put together as Navy, I will be very pleased.  Update! Flaxen's foal is a beautiful filly named Fable.  Wow! She is stunning.  Flaxen has now left Folly Farm and has joined her new family in River John.  Fable will remain with her until weaning then return to the farm and join the herd.
