About us

Nick
Wallace River Haflingers and Equestrian Centre at Folly Farm is an equestrian enterprise owned by Nigel and Gillian Allan.
The focus of the farm is to breed superior Haflinger horses for riding, driving and pleasure pursuits.
The herd stallion, Nick M-J, is silver classified and imported from the World Haflinger Centre, Fohlenhof Ebbs in Austria. He is a proven stallion with quality offspring throughout Canada and the USA.
The farm is also an excellent driving and riding centre. Stables and paddocks, a large indoor arena, fields, and miles of country roads and trails provides for first rate driving and riding opportunities.
Gillian provides driving instruction with a focus on safety, using the farm Haflingers and client horses. The farm also hosts clinics combining riding instruction in the morning and trail riding in the afternoon to riders of all levels.
Stabling, accommodations and fine dining make this a ‘bucket list’ experience.
Wallace River Equestrian Centre also hosts the Equine Education Series, a series of lectures and workshops on Equine related topics such as Equine First Aid, Lameness and Joint Injuries, and Respiratory Risk Factors and Diseases.
The Wallace River Equestrian Centre is passionate about Haflinger horses and the enjoyment they bring as a versatile, gentle ‘Golden Horse with a Golden Heart’.
